Ira L. Wagler will write periodic columns on a variety of issues. He was born in Iowa in 1983. He was Amish for the first 12 years of his life and then he was Amish Mennonite for the next 11 years. Right now he's not sure what he is. His family moved to Lancaster, PA when he was 12.
He graduated from Faith Mennonite High School in Kinzers, PA in 2001 and Harrisburg Community College in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. His interests include writing, sports, history, politics and traveling. His favorite food is chicken, his favorite President is Teddy Roosevelt, he appreciates his heritage and he is a postmillenial. He currently lives near Leola,PA by himself.
